Rental Policies

DRIVING RULES AND REGULATIONS

Drivers and front seat passengers' are required to fasten their seat belts at all times as and when the vehicle shall be driven.Children weighing less than 27 pounds and/or under 2years of age are required to be secured in a child safety seat. Driving while under the influence of alcohol or any illegal substance is strictly prohibited. All fines shall be charged to the credit card of the customer.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

(1) - Minimum age requirements: 25 years of age. Drivers under 30 must have held a license for a minimum of three years. The same applies for the person(s) whose name(s) is/are mentioned as additional driver.

(2) - All drivers shall be required to have a valid driver’s license* and at least one major credit card**.

ADDITIONAL DRIVERS

Minimum age requirements: 25 years old. If under 30,         drivers must have held a license for a minimum of three years Drivers shall be required to have a valid driver’s license* and Passport copy.

SECURITY DEPOSIT

All customers shall be required to deposit the below mentioned amount as a security deposit during the duration of the rental. The security deposit amount must be paid during the pick-up or delivery of vehicles thru Credit card as a ‘Pre-authorization’ or credit card amount blocking. The amount blocked will be refunded based on the policy of credit card issuing bank (usually refunded within 21-30 days).

Security deposit amounts per vehicle class:


  • Business Class - AED 5,000
  • Crossover Class – AED 5,000
  • Sports Class – AED  7,500
    • Luxury Class – AED  7,500

PAYMENT METHOD

All rates and fees are displayed in United Arab Emirates currency (AED).

Bravo Inv Rent A Car LLC accepts all Credit Cards issued by MasterCard and Visa Agencies on making online booking.

Please note, if you made your booking with a debit card, you will need to present the debit card and one or more credit cards when picking-up the vehicle.

The renter must be the owner of the credit card used during the booking. The authorized driver details and method of payment will be confirmed at booking phase and cannot be changed. The verified credit card should be valid and presented during the pick-up or delivery of the vehicle. All extra costs (Fuel, Salik, Traffic Fines and extra car accessories) that occur on the duration of the rental will be charged to the said credit card. Rental charged plus any other charges (e.g. Salik, Fuel, and Delivery etc.) must be paid in full for the agreed rental period.

NOTE: Bravo Inv Rent A Car LLC DO NOT collect any credit card information via telephone / email.

DELIVERY AND COLLECTION

Delivery and pickup service shall be offered free of charge within the emirate of Dubai and subject to the payment of such additional charges as shall be determined by Bravo Inv Rent a Car Dubai L.L.C in its absolute discretion, for the other emirates.



EARLY RETURN CHARGES

Bravo Inv Rent a Car reserve the right to make an Early Return Charges to recompense us in fraction of our incapability to rent your vehicle throughout the time booked for your use.

LATE RETURN CHARGES

Bravo Inv Rent A Car reserve the right to make a Late Return Charge to recompense us in fraction for the costs we acquire in finding a substitute vehicle to guarantee our next booking for your vehicle and for our administration cost for the effort to get in touch with you to return the vehicle.

NO SHOW ON THE TIME OF VEHICLE PICK-UP

If you fail to cancel your booking and do not collect the vehicle on the date and time of pick-up, Bravo Inv Rent A Car reserve the right to make a No Show or Lost rental Charges to recover our administration costs and recompense the company for incapability to rent the vehicle when it was booked for your use. This will be taken from the credit card you used to make your booking.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All cancellations shall be required to be notified in writing, communicated and received by the Hirer at least 48 hours prior to the date and time on which the rental shall take effect; Bravo Inv Rent A Car will apply cancellation charges if the cancellation is made less than the 48 hours and will be taken from the credit card you used to make your booking.

FUELING POLICY

All vehicles shall be delivered with full tank of fuel. Upon the return of vehicle, the ‘Hirer’ shall be responsible for the refueling of the vehicle to its full tank capacity. Refueling charges are applied in case cars are returned without same level of fuel provided during rental of the vehicle.

DAILY MILEAGE

Mileage per kilometers is limited per daily rental as specified on the rental agreement. Any overage of the stated mileage for specified rental days shall be chargeable at such rates as shall be deemed necessary by Bravo Rent a Car Dubai, at its absolute discretion.

TOLL FEES

AED 5 fee will be charged each time the vehicle passes through the Salik toll in Dubai

INSURANCE

Bravo Inv Rent a Car Dubai’s cars are comprehensively insured and include third party liability. The insurance policy also includes unlimited liability in case of death or permanent disability caused by bodily injury subject to the country’s court decision. Please refer to rental policy for full insurance liability.

COVERAGE

Cars must not be taken driven outside UAE; failure to comply may result in penalty.

NO SMOKING

Smoking or any use of illegal drugs is prohibited inside the vehicles.

Any complaints on service or the rented unit can be sent to our support team: info@bravorentacardubai.com. Each case will be looked at individually, and the Bravo agents will be in contact personally.

GOVERNING LAW

Frequently Asked Questions

How are rates calculated?

The rates are based on a 24 hour rental day starting with the hour you pick up the vehicle.


Will I be charged if I bring the vehicle back after the return time on the rental agreement?

Yes, you will be charged for each hour or day in excess of the time you were required to return the vehicle.


How old do I have to be to rent a car from Bravo?

If the renter will be self-driving, the renter must be at least 25 years of age, though there are a few areas in which those under 25 have the      opportunity to rent. If hiring a chauffeur from Bravo, renter can be at least 18 years old. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions page for further information.


Aside from the base rate, what other additional charges should I check on?

Additional charges to your daily rental rate may include company imposed surcharges or city and state imposed toll fees (Salik) that are in addition to rate or as per the running promotion.


Does Bravo accept debit cards for payment?

As a general rule, a major credit card is required at the time of rental. However, when renting from Dubai only for the payment of the rent we accept debit cards and pre-auth will be taken from credit card.


I was not stopped by a police officer, so why am I being charged for a ticket?

Some municipalities and RTA (Road transport authority) have adopted video radar services, allowing for moving violations to be captured by camera. The owner is identified by the license plate and notified by mail and billed for the infraction. As per the terms of the rental contract, these charges, plus an administrative fee per event, is billed to the credit card on file.




What does a reservation guarantee?

Your reservation guarantees a car at the rate, date and time that you reserved it for. It does not guarantee a specific make and model of a vehicle, nor can it guarantee a reservation for another date.

What do I do in case of an accident?

First, make sure that everyone involved is okay. If someone is injured, immediately dial 119 for help. Second, contact the local authority (Dubai Police) in order to fill out the necessary accident report. Third, call the rental location to inform them of the accident. The trained staff at Bravo Rent a Car will give you further instructions.

Refund & Return Policy

REFUND POLICY

Down payments made through credit card will be credited back to the Hirer account within 15 working days.

Down payments made through cash will be credited upon the return of the vehicle.

Refunds will be done only through the Original Mode of Payment.




CANCELLATION POLICY

All cancellations shall be required to be notified in writing, communicated and received by the Hirer at least 24 hours prior to the date and time on which the rental shall take effect.

Cancellations made later than 24 hours from the rental time will charge the customer one rental day.

GOVERNING LAW
